True wireless headphones (TWS) are the trend of our time. They are compact, easy to use, have good autonomy. Here are a few models that, in our opinion, are worthy of attention.
HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro
The TWS headset is equipped with three microphones: such a system allows you to implement active noise reduction, and with adjustable intensity – three modes are available. Also, each earphone has a bone conduction sensor, thanks to which the voice amplification function works: when you record an audio message or talk to someone on the phone, the headset will pick up your voice, cutting off all extraneous sounds.
You can control the headphones using the touch buttons on the case. And adjust the sound – in the equalizer in a proprietary application for smartphones. The model provides excellent sound and supports connection to two devices at once.
On a single charge, HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro will work up to 8 hours, and from the case – as much as 36 hours. This is a record result for completely wireless headphones.
Xiaomi Redmi AirDots 3
Xiaomi surprises once again. For only 4000 rubles. you get headphones that can work up to 7 hours on a single charge (and all 30 with the case), work on Bluetooth 5.2, have a sensor that instructs you to stop playback when you pull the earpiece out of your ear. At the same time, they keep perfectly in the ears and are quite suitable for jogging (they have IPX4 protection). Support for the aptX codec is provided, which is also rare for budget models. In a word, an excellent set of characteristics for such a low price.
Of the minuses – oddly enough, but the lack of black headphones in the assortment. There is blue, pink and white – everything. There is also no way to switch tracks. Double-tapping on the right earpiece pauses playback and starts the music again, on the left – activates the voice assistant.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro
One of the most beautiful TWS headphones on the market. And from a technical point of view – one of the best. For example, each earphone uses two speakers (11 and 6.5 mm), there is support for the Dolby Atmos standard and a sensor that tracks the position of your head. If you are watching a video on your Galaxy S21 and turn your head to the side, the soundstage changes as if the smartphone is the physical sound source.
Of course, there is an active noise reduction system, as well as a transparent mode. Their work can be configured through the application. Of the nice “chips” – the noise canceler can automatically turn off, and the transparency mode turns on when you start talking.
The Galaxy Buds Pro are IPX7 protected, while more affordable competitors typically offer IPX5 protection. In fact, this means that Samsung’s headphones will survive even the rain without any problems. With autonomy, too, everything is in order: the gadgets themselves sound up to 8 hours (with noise reduction turned off), another 20 is provided by the charging case. By the way, charging is supported both via USB-C and wirelessly.

Jabra Elite 85t
Most recently, Jabra released the Elite 85t, and we have already had time to test it. Outwardly, they almost do not differ from the 75t, but in fact there is a difference. For example, the mesh that protects the speakers is not made on the case, but on the ear pads. This greatly facilitates its cleaning. In addition, the design of the headphones is now semi-open, that is, air communication is provided between the auditory canal and the external environment. In this way, excessive pressure in the ear is avoided.
The Jabra Elite 85t doesn’t just come with Active Noise Cancellation, it also has an adjustable noise cancellation level. Of course. There is also a HearThrough transparency mode. Without recharging, the headphones work up to 7 hours (with noise canceling turned off), using the case – up to 31 hours. And it’s only 15 minutes. Charging is enough for 1 hour of work.

JBL Live 300 TWS
JBL already has a very large selection of fully wireless headphones. The simplest model JBL T100TWS costs a little more than 2000 rubles. But in our ranking of TWS headphones in 2021, we decided to include the more advanced JBL Live 300 TWS. They fit perfectly in the ear, have IPX5 protection, a good battery, Bluetooth 5.0 and 12mm speakers. One of the chips of the headset is the TalkThru and Ambient Aware functions, which allow you to add ambient sounds to the music, if desired, in order to hear the interlocutors and not feel completely isolated.
The My JBL Headphones app is used to set up the headphones: you can select a voice assistant, create your own acoustic profile and set sound parameters in it. On a single charge, the headphones work up to 6 hours, they can be charged two or three more times from the case. There is also fast charging: in 10 minutes, the gadget will receive energy for an hour of playback.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2
If you are looking for compact headphones with excellent sound quality, take a closer look at the model from Sennheiser. Today it is one of the most popular TWS headsets among music lovers. The headphones are equipped with touch buttons that can be configured in the Sennheiser Smart Control app. There is support for Google Assistant and Apple Siri voice assistants, as well as the Smart Pause function – a smart pause in which playback stops if you remove your headphones.
The device is IPX4 certified, which is basic splash protection that allows you to use the headphones in the rain. To connect, the headset uses modern Bluetooth 5.1 with support for AAC and aptX codecs. The case is charged via USB-C, it lasts about 3 full charges. On one battery, the headphones can work up to 7 hours.
Another model with excellent sound is the Sony WF-1000XM3. In addition, the headphones have active noise cancellation. They use two microphones – external and internal – which allows you to capture the maximum amount of ambient noise. If you often listen to music in transport or during workouts, good noise reduction is definitely a must. Like the headphones from Sennheiser, this is a vacuum model.
The connection uses NFC and Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC, A2DP and AVRCP profiles. Headphones can work on a single charge up to 6 hours and recharge three more times from the case. There is support for fast charging: 10 minutes in the case is enough for an hour and a half of playback.
Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro
Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro is a model of the American manufacturer Anker, which is not inferior in sound quality to headphones from Sony and Sennheiser, but costs almost half the price of its competitors. To configure, use the proprietary Soundcore application, in which you can change the equalizer or select one of 22 ready-made presets for different musical genres. The model also supports the unusual Hear ID function, with which it can adjust the sound of the headphones to your hearing.
The headphones come with a large set of ear pads and an unusual case, from which they can be charged twice. On a single charge, the headphones work up to 8 hours – this is almost a record result. We recently tested this model, all the details about the Liberty 2 Pro can be found in the review.
